I will answer that like this....ADR 2009 is not compatible with VisionREZ BOMs ability to show unassigned items in the database. We recommend staying with ADR 2008 until Autodesk gets an up date out that fixes the issues we are having. We have reported the bugs that cause this and are waiting for a fix.
There is a process to go back to ADR 2008 should you install ADR 2009 and it could possibly involve some registry work. You can find this on our self help site.
