Can the Renovation Extension for ACA 2010 that's available from the Autodesk subscription center be used with VisionREZ Plug-in 7.0 or 7.1?

I use the VisionRez layer key overrides, but this new extension seems to have some automatic features, such as when a door is being relocated, the new wall segment is added that is to be constructed in its place, and this new wall segment is added with the appropriate layer key override and display. Plus, there appears to be an option to display quickly and separately: the existing, demo, and new construction.

Dianne,

Thanks for asking about this extension prior to installing. I went straight to development on this one and I was told they have not had an opportunity to install and test the extension you are referring to.

They said you should be cautious if you do install this extension as it is unsupported by our team at this time.

If you do install it and it messes anything up and you need to re-install your VREZ software just log a case with the online support group and they will take care of you.
